Our club includes community-minded professionals who have accepted the ideal of service as a basis of for attaining fulfillment in their professional, personal, and community lives.
Our club is part of Rotary International, a global network of more than 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary’s people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. And since 1990, the people of Sunrise have been part of that work. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.
The Rotary motto “Service above Self” is the thread that runs through Rotary International and unites likeminded individuals in thought and action.
Rotary members believe we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Our club, with the 45,000 clubs across the globe, work together to:
- Promote peace
- Fight disease
- Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
- Improve maternal and child health
- Support education
- Grow local economies
