Fellow Sunrise Rotarian Cathy Oloffson shares the following message:
I hope this email finds you all healthy and well during these very surreal times. We’re throwing a virtual party for Easterseals Heroes and need help celebrating the children and families served by Easterseals Central Illinois.
In June, we’re celebrating with children who have developmental delays, disabilities and special needs with the first-ever *2020 Virtual Easterseals Hero Walk. * In response to the pandemic, Easterseals translated *Hero Walk 2020 (formerly known as Walk With Me) into a virtual event. The attached PDF “Easterseals Hero Walk Timeline” explains how we will celebrate with Easterseals kiddos and their families. From June 1-6, children receiving services from Easterseals will enjoy pre-planned experiences they can participate in from the safety of their homes.
I’m reaching out today to ask you to volunteer to celebrate Heroes here in Bloomington-Normal. We seek volunteers to deliver meals on Wednesday, June 3 and participate in a honking parade on Saturday, June 6.

Please visit the Sign-up Genius and choose a time to help celebrate the progress our amazing kiddos have made in the past year.
Craving connection with others?
This is a great way to connect with friends, family and coworkers during a time when it’s been hard to do so. Your commitment will make a difference for children served by Easterseals. In these uncertain times, it is more important than ever to ensure children can receive the services they need to be 100% Included, 100% Empowered.
